Flearun is the latest incarnation of the Hidalgo Trading Company, a website created in 1996 by Chuck Welch. The original goal of the HTC was to bring together the opinions of fans who didn't want to create their own site. As everyone began to build websites HTC morphed into: docsavage.info to showcase an idiosyncratic look at Doc and docsavage.org, the net's first attempt at a Doc Savage encyclopedia.
Flearun will merge those two approaches and include Catherine Lavallée-Welch's L'Homme de Bronze, a look at the French version of Doc.

I liked this one even though it is gangsters looking to get rich. I like Doc and the Fab Five doing their part for king and country. It always puts me in the mind of Star Trek and Kirk and the gang saving the universe every week. I like how the extortionists warn their victims not to let Doc Savage near the case. Pretty smart though ulitmately foolish. Not the the best Doc you'll ever read but a darn good one I think.
